Private Lessons

Alexis maintains a private studio based in Miami. She currently holds a teaching position at the University of Miami as Professor Robert Weiner’s teaching assistant. She teaches a weekly reed class for undergraduates and private lessons for some of the undergraduates as well. She is dedicated to teaching high-level players — pre-professional students, Beginner oboists, conservatory candidates, and committed adult musicians preparing for the next stage of their playing.

Audition Preparation

Repertoire selection, excerpt drilling, and mock-audition runs for conservatory and orchestral auditions.

Solo & Concerto Coaching

Deep work on the standard concertos and recital literature — sound, line, color, and stage presence.

Reed Making

Hands-on guidance through scrape, balance, and consistency, tailored to your equipment and climate.
